Bear Tree Apothecary offers holistic beauty and well-being products inspired by the ancient Indian healing practice of Ayurveda. Developed more than 3000 years ago, “Ayur” is the Sanskrit word for “life” and “Veda” means “knowledge”. It is based on the belief that the mind, body and spirit need to be balanced for health and wellness to be achieved. It makes use of the five elements of life; earth (Na), water (Ma), fire (Shi), air (Va) and ether (Ya) which have been thoughtfully incorporated into each product.
